Farsley is a small mill township on the outskirts of Leeds, which is in West Yorkshire in northern England. The saw-tooth factory buildings housed waving looms which needed plenty of light hence the design of the roofs;also the looms were also better located on the ground floors rather than in a multi-storey building due to the vibrations.
