This painting is based on a photograph I took near Shepley and Brockholes in Kirklees(near Huddersfield) - Last of the Summer Wine country (named after the famous TV comedy series set in this area). The tree just called out to be painted. Castle Hill is on the skyline with the famous Jubilee Tower (built to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897.)
